About
This training prepares nonclinical staff and lay responders to recognize and respond to a suspected opioid overdose. Participants will learn how opioids affect the body, identify warning signs of respiratory depression, activate emergency response, provide CPR and use an AED when needed, and administer naloxone using available delivery devices. The program also covers Good Samaritan protections, post-naloxone monitoring, and the importance of emergency and recovery follow-up.
