Service Description

The Civilian Tactical Medical Responder Course is designed to equip everyday citizens with the knowledge and skills to save lives in high-stress and potentially dangerous environments. Whether faced with an active threat, severe accident, or mass casualty event, participants will learn evidence-based interventions rooted in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) principles and adapted for civilian application. This hands-on course covers the M.A.R.C.H. assessment algorithm (Massive Hemorrhage, Airway, Respiration, Circulation, Hypothermia/Head Injury), bleeding control techniques, tourniquet application, wound packing, airway management, chest seals, casualty movement, and safe response considerations in dynamic or hostile situations. Participants will engage in realistic scenario-based training that builds confidence in recognizing life-threatening injuries and delivering immediate, effective care until professional responders arrive. By the end of the course, students will be prepared to: Control life-threatening bleeding using proven medical devices. Manage airway and breathing emergencies. Provide initial trauma care under stress. Assist with casualty evacuation and handoff to EMS. Who should attend: Teachers, security personnel, faith-based leaders, community members, first responders, and anyone who may find themselves in a situation where lifesaving care is needed before EMS can arrive. This course empowers civilians to bridge the gap between injury and professional medical care—helping to save lives when seconds matter most.
